Dermal Fillers

We use dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid, that is a naturally occurring substance in the human body, normally found in collagen and joints. It is used to create volume in areas of the face lacking volume due to natural occurring facial asymmetry or loss of facial fat pads. This is also used to enhance certain features such as jawline, chin and filler to create a more balanced appearance, accentuating feminine features.

Is it painful?

Dermal fillers can cause some discomfort as you are adding volume into a restricted space; however this is manageable with regular painkillers. The pain should resolve over few days and is temporary. We also provide certain topical numbing creams for further comfort.

How long does it last?

They normally last from 6-18 months. The body will naturally begin to reabsorb the hyaluronic acid fillers over time. We recommend minimum of 6 weeks in between dermal filler treatments within the same area.

How soon will I see the results?

Results are instantaneous; however, due to the swelling, this effect can be more exaggerated within the first few weeks. Once the swelling has eased, we can fully appreciate the effect of the fillers.
