Depending on which muscles are targeted, effects can vary from 4-6 months. Muscles that are more naturally active, such as your lower face muscles, tend to require top-up sooner as they metabolise the toxin quicker.

How soon will I see the results?

It usually takes up to 2 weeks for the treatment to reach its maximum effect. At Dermescence, we offer a 2-week follow up appointment for any anti-wrinkle injection, and free top-up if the full effect is not yet achieved

Is it safe?

Botoxulinum toxin is an FDA-approved treatment that can be used for anti-wrinkle injections. There are certain contra-indications, such as pregnancy and breastfeeding, which are covered as part of the medical health questionnaire in the first consultation to make sure we are providing safe healthcare.
